With my co-author Geoff Whyte, I’ve finally got The Little Black Book of Business Writing finished. We submitted our little rant against cant to the publishers, UNSWP, on 15 December. We’ll be dealing with the edits through January and the proofs through February and March. The press has the book scheduled to publish in June 2010.

At this point, I’m just relieved to have wrestled the thing to the ground. Once the edits are done, though, I’m sure my enthusiasm will wax. UNSWP are thrilled with the book and excited about its marketing potential; there’s interest in it from overseas.
