I’m the next live poet at Live Poets @ Don Bank in North Sydney, next Wednesday night, 24 March 2010.

The beautiful Don Bank Museum has hosted poetry readings for longer than any other venue in the city. Poets who’ve shared their work there include Judy Beveridge, Geoff Lehmann, Dorothy Porter, Robert Adamson, and Les Murray, so I’m honoured to be asked to read from my own work in their considerable wake.

Once upon a time, as it happens, I began one of my former lives—as a book publisher (for Allen & Unwin)—in the building right next door to Don Bank. It will be an curious homecoming.
