I heard last week that Fire Diary has been shortlisted for the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award.

I’m proud to keep that kind of company. David Musgrave is my publisher—a nice plot point. We don’t find out who’s won till September, but to have made such a list is already to have succeeded.
