A good thing happened at the launch of Michelle Cahill’s Poetry Without Borders back in May.
One of the poets with work in the volume, Isil Cosar, recognised me (from the author headshot inside The Little Red Writing Book, I think); she greeted me and told me she’s using my little writing guide with her year twelve English (creative writing) students in the Islamic school where she teaches.
Writing can jump borders and teach us how to jump them.
