Writing Well: the Essential Guide was published in the US and the rest of the English-speaking world in late August. Writing Well is really The Little Red Writing Book with its Australian accent softened. I guess there’s more to the revision than that, but not so much that I can call it a new book. Writing Well is what Cambridge University Press wanted to call it, and they’ve painted it yellow, not red. But if they can find the market they hope to for it, they can call it almost anything they like. It’s still me in there.
